Light weight spikey balls can be used for self-massage, to reduce muscle tension and improve flexibility for specific joints and muscles. Massage balls are available in different sizes to cater for all conditions.
Place the spikey massage ball in the specified areas and slowly move your body forwards and backwards, or side to side allowing the ball to massage the affected area. While undergoing the exercises it is recommended that you keep your breathing normal with your body relaxed.
Repeat this process for 15 – 90 seconds, provided that it is comfortable and does not cause pain. Applying sustain pressure to tight area for 15 – 60 seconds can cause the muscle to relax.
