Carpal tunnel Syndrome is a mechanical problem; therefore we must treat it with mechanical means.
The Carpal Tunnel is too narrow for the nerve. You can open it two ways;
- surgery, cut the roof (ligament)
- stretch the roof (ligament) with C TRAC.
NEW CTRAC Carpal Tunnel Treatment System
The first and only clinically proven modality for treating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome without surgery.A clinical study indicated that stretching the transverse carpal ligament (TCL) for 5 minutes, 3 times per day, for up to 6 weeks reduced CTS symptoms by 88%. It’s simple, slide the Ctrac on and pump it up. The inflated pneumatic pad inside creates Ctrac’s patented 3 point leverage system, thus stretching the TCL by up to 3mm.
Features/Benefits of CTRAC Carpal Tunnel Treatment System
The science of stretching and elongating ligaments has been proven for many years. Dynamic and Static Progressive splints utilise this principle to straighten out joint contractures. Both modalities are widely used and nationally recognised. Before Ctrac, no one had thought of designing a device that could elongate the transverse carpal ligament. The goal of CTS surgery is to free the ligament to allow more room for the median nerve in the carpal tunnel. MRI studies demonstrated that Ctrac stretched the flexor retinaculum in a CTS patient 3mm.
Ctrac is a patient-controlled treatment can be used on either right or left hand and treats mild, moderate and severe forms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, possibly avoiding the need for surgery. This non-invasive, safe, and easy-to-use alternative has been proven to dramatically decrease symptoms in patients that failed other types of conservative therapy.

Instructions on Use
Ctrac is quick and easy to use, just 5 minutes 3 times a day for 4-6 weeks! Just follow the listed instructions and repeat 3 times a day for 4-6 weeks:
- Place on hand as shown
- Inflate for 2 minutes to 190 mmHg
- Deflate for 1 minute
- Inflate again for 2 minutes
The research proven treatment time is four to six weeks. You may feel relief as quickly as one week or less. We recommend you continue the treatment for the full six weeks even if you do feel improvement of your symptoms. Once the symptoms are gone, Ctrac can be used on a monthly basis to maintain the stretch of the ligaments.
NOTE: Do not use CTRAC if you’ve had carpal tunnel release surgery or have had a hand fracture or dislocation, hand deformity or osteoporosis.
Is CTRAC Alternative Medicine?
It is both!!! Alternative Medicine and Mainstream Medicine.
If Alternative medicine means no drugs, no surgery, treat yourself at home, and restore the Carpal Ligament to the way Nature made it without altering it with surgery, steroids or medication, YES it is! .
If mainstream medicine means clinically researched and tested under control in the correct patients in order to verify it is efficient and true to its claims, and it produces relief, improved function and improves quality of life, then yes it is also mainstream medicine.
